Comprehensive interview
This interview is widespread and involves two lawyers of the firm – the first being a Director or a senior lawyer of the firm, the second being a less-senior lawyer. You only pay for one lawyer of the firm and the second is offered as a service the firm provides so that you have an extra contact person within the firm who is aware of your matter, and in turn may be able to undertake work on your matter in a cost-saving exercise. All work is supervised by the initial senior lawyer. In this interview the lawyer you see will gain a full understanding of the history of your relationship and outline your rights, entitlements and obligations. The advice you have been provided with orally is later supplied comprehensively in writing. This can be a useful tool for you to rely on at a later time.

Initial interview
This is a shorter interview with one lawyer of the firm who will outline to you how Australian Family Law applies to your circumstances after as short history has been provided. This interview is aimed at clients who only require an explanation of the family law system and process, clients who require a guide forward for recently separated or people considering separation. The interview is somewhat broader and it may be difficult to provide you with comprehensive advice. A short written summary of the advice is provided.

Single Issue interview
This is a 20 minute interview usually by telephone, with a Director of the firm and is used to answer urgent concerns to specific questions.
